Are you looking for a unique, intimate, casual place your gathering? The newly renovated RiverQuest is available for Private Charter. She is perfect for:
Charter RiverQuest for an Evening Cruise, Early/Late morning Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch Cruise.
A casual buffet or Hors-d'oeuvres/Cocktail type gathering where your guests can mingle works best on RiverQuest. We suggest a maximum of 45 guests for everyone's comfort. If you want an intimate sit-down dinner, we suggest a maximum of 30 guests. Please Contact Us anytime to discuss specifics.
Food: On RiverQuest, you supply your own cuisine. Depending on the event, bring Hors-d'oeuvres, potluck, light buffet, sandwiches; choose your own caterer or we can supply you with a list of caterers that are familiar with RiverQuest.
Beverage: Any beverage, including alcohol is allowed. Please plan to bring and serve your own. If you need coolers (we have three medium size ones for your use) or if you need ice (we will supply a maximum six 5# to 7# bags), let us know.
Sound System: Music: We have good speakers on board, so, bring your Ipod or MP3 player to listen to on your cruise (PLEASE, NO RAP). At this point we do NOT have a CD player. PA System. We have a walking microphone that you can use for your party or company presentation.
Duration: A minimum of two hours is required for all Private Charters. For Showers, Weddings or Birthday Parties where there will be gifts, a cake and speeches, we strongly suggest a three hour charter. If we have nothing scheduled after your charter, you can add extra time at any time during your cruise.
Miscellaneous: There are tables and chairs available that can be arranged to fit your party needs. We have flowered vinyl table clothes on the tables that you can use or bring your own. Bring your own dishware and "paper" supplies. Children of any age are allowed on your private cruise. Decorations are allowed, however, you'll want to keep it simple!
Re-location: We may be able to pick your group up at a dock other than our home dock. There will be a re-location fee, along with any other fees (example: docking, parking) that may be charged to us. We must approve the dock. E-mail or call us to discuss options. If your chosen dock will not work, no worry, our parking lot is huge! If you bring a bus, it can stay in the parking lot.
There is PLENTY of FREE parking at our home berth, Eagle Landing State Park.
2010 Private Charter Prices: Charter price includes the entire vessel, along with the Captain and Crew, to be exclusively yours. There are no added or hidden fees. Our price also includes a ½ hour setup time at the dock (Example: start setup at 5:00pm, leave the dock at 5:30pm and return to the dock at 7:30pm).
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Daytime after 3:00pm into the evening: $1100 for two hours on the water. Additional time on the water: $250 per hour.
Saturday and Sunday: Mornings (start any time, end by 1:00pm): $900 for two hours on the water.
Monday through Thursday: Daytime after 5:00pm into the evening: $900 for two hours on the water. OR.....
SPECIAL! Monday thru Friday: “Special Daytime Charter”: $650 for two hours on the water. Start your setup at 10:30am, leave the dock by 11am and return at 1pm OR start your setup at 2:30pm, leave the dock by 3:00pm and return at 5:00pm. Bring your own "favorite beverage", have your meal catered or make it simple and we'll pick up a "picnic sandwich box" (price of each box -about $10- to be confirmed when you book) for you from a local deli. Or just have some light apps and dine after your cruise at one of the local area restaurants: Examples: La Vita Gustosa or The Gelston House. We can also offer more suggestions for places in Chester and Essex.

Available Dates: Check our Calendar for available dates. If an evening lists "Public Sunset Cruise or Open" that evening is available for a Private Charter. If an evening lists "Pending" it may be available. Contact Us and we'll check with the "Pending" party. If an evening is not available, please consider a morning or the "SPECIAL" Monday thru Friday $650 charter described above. Always a beautiful time on the river.
